Two Beautiful Charcoal Pencil Sketches of Female Figure:

Charcoal drawing is a well recognized media and is one of the oldest art forms. Generally I use compressed charcoal. Charcoal has a unique look and texture when applied to paper that is perfect for allowing a fresher artist to perfect their technique and practice their drawing. Charcoal is ideal for making a variety of different lines very quickly.

Here in this post I have shown two of my beautiful charcoal pencil sketches. And both charcoal pencil sketches are of female figure.

In this charcoal sketch I smudged charcoal with my fingers to shade it. I removed small sections quickly for highlights.

I sketched this female figure with a few and quick lines only. Somewhere I used my finger tip for shading. I did not take much time for sketching this charcoal sketch but took time to clean up the edges to make it clearer.

Here is another beautiful pencil sketch of girl’s figure posing standing with an umbrella. I have avoided using sharp angles on the beautiful girl. U used soft angle, delicate curves and plush shapes. I have tried to make the sketch more beautiful by posing the girl in an attractive way.

Beautiful Pencil Sketch of Female Figure Lying on Back:

At first I took a good reference picture of a girl. I sketched the whole outline of the figure. Then I went for detailing. I added some soft shadows all over the figure where needed. The figure of the girl is almost bare and wearing bikini lying on seaside.

How I have drawn the sketch:

Indian women always look beautiful in saree and you will surely love this sketch.

Before sketching the girl I took a picture of a girl in saree. Then I quickly jot down the figure on artpaper. I sketched the full figure in a few minutes. Shades and highlights give the post a life-like feel, and can be just as descriptive as a line. I took time to draw the shades. Somewhere I used the side of the charcoal pencil and somewhere I used the end point of the pencil. At last I used eraser to make the highlights.

I used charcoal pencil and eraser for sketching the girl in saree.

Brief Description of the Pencil Sketch of a Lovely Black Girl:

At first I took a photo of the girl I wanted to sketch.

I planned the composition.

Then I draw some quick outlines.

I sketched the whole thing in a few minutes.

Then I started to sketch the figure in detail and draw the shadows and highlights area.

I used 2B and 4B graphite pencils for sketching outlines and shading and used black colour pencil for shading.

About the Beautiful Pencil Sketch of Indian Woman in Saree:

This is one of my most beautiful pencil sketches. The beauty of any sketch of girl will come from her proportions. I have tried to keep her features soft and subtle but geometrically correct and balanced and also tried to make the eyes, nose, lips and face structure balanced and beautiful. While drawing cloth, keep in mind that even if we cover our body with clothes, the body makes its presence felt. Look at the folds and creases on the saree and arrangement of light and shade. I have some simple ornaments. The smile on the face of the girl made the girl more beautiful.

At first I took a reference photo. Your reference photo should be clear and big.

Then I began sketching the outlines and I draw the eyes. I used 2B graphite pencil for outlines. Now I started shading and darkening the entire face except for the light spots on the face and the mouth. Avoid touching the paper. It may leave ugly spots over your drawing. I started darkening shadows. I used 4B graphite pencil and charcoal pencil for darkening.

Make sure all your pencil marks go into the same direction. I had to add several layers to get my preferred tone.

I did not work much in hair, just darken them.

Remember when you have finished everything; there is still work to do. Here you may use kneaded rubber eraser to lift the unwanted smudges on paper.

I made some minor alternations at this time.

Drawing beautiful girls is my hobby. I always try to make my sketch attractive as much as I can. In this charcoal pencil sketch the girl is fully bare. She is sitting and her back is seen uncovered.

Here, I have sketched the upper half portion of the figure of the girl. Every minute details are beautifully sketched down on the paper. I have tried to make the sketch of this girl more attractive and catchy by using shade and light. I have also spent times for sketching the hair. Hope you will like the charcoal sketch.
